Love doesn't come with a syllabus.
Kelly Davidson has waited what seems like forever to graduate high school and get out of his small-minded, small town. But when he arrives at Hope University, he quickly realizes finding his Prince Charming isn't so easy. Everyone here is already out. In fact, Kelly could be the only virgin on campus.
Worst of all, he’s landed the charming, handsome, gay campus Casanova as a roommate, whose bed might as well be equipped with a revolving door.
Walter Lucas doesn't believe in storybook love. Everyone is better off having as much fun as possible with as many people as possible…except his shy, sad little sack of a roommate is seriously screwing up his world view.
As Walter sets out to lure Kelly out of his shell, staying just friends is harder than he anticipated. He discovers love is a crash course in determination. To make the grade, he’ll have to finally show up for class…and overcome his own private fear that love was never meant to last.
Warning: This story contains lingering glances, milder than usual sexual content for this author, and a steamy dance-floor kiss. Story has no dairy or egg content, but may contain almonds.

A Reviewer's Thought....
When this book landed on my e-reader, I was a bit skeptical about reading it. Frankly speaking this is my first novel where the protagonists are Gays. I didn't know whether I will do justice to it or not. Then I thought, what the heck.! So here I go with my attempt....
Walter Lucas is a man who would stand up for his right without taking any crap from his fellow students. He had already suffered for being a gay in the hands of gay bashers but had develped a hard shell which others found it hard to crack. In the home front, he did not have a happy family, with his parents being divorced, but money did not seem to be a problem. He had a profound desire to live outside the campus of Hope University. But Dean Stevens would not hear of it and had him become a roomie with a acne prone, allergy ridden freshman, Kelly Davidson.
Kelly Davidson is all set up to start a new life in the campus. He was from a small town where being a gay member of the society was not an option. But his parents were very supportive and they send him to Hope University where he could be more open about it. But Kelly knew even with being gay he was different from others because of his allergies. He always need the air conditioner and could not eat half of the things in the canteen.
Kelly's biggest drawback was he was a virgin who was saving himself for true love. Such a thing was termed as 'being an unicorn' in the campus. But he does get two cool friends, Rose and Walter. While Rose was his buddy, he started feeling very much attracted towards Walter- his room partner. But Walter was the casannova of the campus and had no time for a serious relationship. What he could not understand was why did Walter always protect him from the other students and look after all his needs.?If Walter did find him attractive, what stopped him from exploring their relationship?
Love Lessons takes you in a journey where two men who know they love each other but they have to discover this slowly and find out if their love is for keeps.
The story has a clean line and even when it shuttles between the two characters, it maintained a fluid crossovers. The love between them was sweet and cute. Walter the macho type and Kelly the softer of the two. In the begining of the story Kelly needs protection and later he becomes the carer of Watler's emotional need.
The pace of the story is too slow. For college going kids I did expect a faster paced story. Though the campus scenes were beautifully depicted with lot of parties and college gathering but the voice of Kelly somehow made it sound like a sad narrative. There is a sadness in the story which I foudn a bit depressing.
But that doesn't mean that you guyd might not like it. It is a sexy, cute love type mushy story, which would want you to either push them together to get on with it or just wait like a proud mamma letting them find their baby steps. The cynical in me would of course protest for who can imagine a sweet eighteen year old virgin waiting for true love in a college campus. Who can imagine a hunky cassanova type Walter fighting for Kelly's food devoid of dairy products, in the college canteen, just to see that he could eat properly?( this scene was too cute), And I did find it kinda funny that Kelly was only declaring his love when he was drunk..... well how many of us can associate being drunk as the safest way to have our heart's desire?
